We currently have an exciting opportunity for Sr Cybersecurity IAM Engineer to join our Tailored Technology team.  This individual will passionately perform functions required to support daily identity and access security operations. What you’ll do

  • IAM Design & Implementation –

o    Architect, document, implement, and support identity and access management solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

o    Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies and solutions that align with security and business requirements.

o    Work with leadership on IAM integration with internal and third-party applications, cloud services, and other platforms.

  • Identity Lifecycle Management:

o    Manage and automate user identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.

o    Develop and implement processes for periodic access reviews, certification, and auditing.

  • Access Control & Governance:

o    Implement and enforce access controls, ensuring least-privilege access for users and systems.

o    Collaborate with business units to define and review user roles, groups, and policies for access management.

o    Ensure IAM solutions comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).

  • Incident Response & Support:

o    Investigate and respond to IAM-related security incidents, such as unauthorized access attempts or account compromise.

o    Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IAM systems and services.

  • Compliance & Auditing:

o    Develop and maintain IAM documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and procedures.

o    Participate in internal and external audits and provide required data and reporting related to access management.

o    Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements for access controls.

  • Continuous Improvement:

o    Identify opportunities to improve IAM processes, tools, and services, incorporating automation where possible.

o    Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in IAM technologies and security standards.

 


What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineer, or relevant experience
  • 8+ years of security engineering experience, specifically in enterprise security solutions, in-cloud and on-premises networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and operations as they apply to on premise and in cloud enterprises.
  • Previous Network Engineering, Systems Engineering background with on-premises, and specific to GCP, AWS, M365, and Azure.
  • Extensive expertise in developing and supporting complex security solutions.
  • Experience developing technical documents and procedures, topology maps, and with various software applications.
  • CISSP certification, CCSK certification
  • NIST, AWS, layer 2 & 3 routing, switching
  • Vulnerability Lifecycle Management Solutions experience

This salary range is specific to Colorado, New York, California, and Washington.  

The starting salary for this position is $106,800– $142,300 and may increase to $160,000 for position depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from our Houston Corporate office or a remote location.
